Location- walking distance from places to eat. Staff- very friendly and accommodating Room design and hotel lobby- i am a sucker for vintage old homey furnitures and homes so I liked the vibe Wifi- very stable Free breakfast- continental only, no hams bacon but there are eggs. Selection and pastries are yummy and coffee is good as said by my husband who is a coffee addict Bed- wow the mattress firm. It is good for the back.

The grounds are clean. There's a fridge & microwave. Ability to bring animals. Pool/hottub open late. HEATED POOL! In room gas fireplace

I was so greatful to find this place , we checked in to a different place friday and had issues with the heater, leaking toliet which lefted a huge puddle in front of the toilet which I stepped in , in the middle of the night not pleasant. Stayed awake found black forest lodge and checked in on sat urday was wonderful, bed so comfy ,and the jacuzzi OMG was wonderful ...I give this place a 50 out of 10....WAS AWESOME

The property was well kept and filled with pine trees. You felt as if you were in a little alpine village. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our cabin was perfect and was fully equipped with everything we needed to make all our meals. The best thing was the fact that it’s dog friendly! Woof Woof.

Great location. The Village and the lake were both within walking distance. I also loved having my own little balcony. The pool looked lovely, even though I didn’t use it. The coffee available and the reception area was excellent, and I loved having the ice machine so nearby my room. Room, it’s obviously enormous, with a lovely fireplace.

The entire vibe was so nice, we felt very welcomed. The front desk even did little doodles of dragons on the map because I had asked for one as a surprise to my boyfriend! My boyfriend has now framed it. The hot tub was fun, the bed was comfortable, and it was in walking distance to everything. It made our first getaway as a couple very special.

I like the welcoming front desk with coffee and cocoa and the room was very comfortable. Especially the big chair! Fireplace in room was very nice and loved having bball court and pool right next to us. And free breakfast. Would stay again.

Beautiful property. Enjoyed the location, close to everything, very walkable. The in suite jacuzzi tub was wonderful after a long day. Balcony was nice for early morning coffee and relaxing. A nice little breakfast. This place was clean and simple. Perfect!
